Barton Orchards

Just took my two nephews (ages 3 and 6) to Barton's and I don't know who had more fun. In addition to the Apples, pumpkins and other produce you can pick there were rides, play areas, and great food. A wonderful family outing. Just get there early on the weekend or the parking and lines add up by afternoon. more

Unfortunately, they appear to cater to the city folk that come up for the weekend. They have fun family stuff to do, but they charge a parking fee as well as fees for all types of picking, attractions and produce. It is an enjoyable time if you go during the week, but the weekend is crowded and just not a fun time with that many people. more

We recently visited this orchard as a part of company outing. The place is very nice and there is something for all ages. You can take the hayride and reach the orchard to pick the apples. They have a petting zoo, pony rides and a maze that kids love. My son loved the bouncy inflatable. Their old country store has yummy goodies like freshly baked apple pies; cakes, cookies and their cider donuts are one of the best. Don't forget to buy their fresh apple cider and jam more

we went last year. It was great fun. lots of stuff to do and not enough time in one day to do it all. The only bummer I remember is having to wait in long lines to weigh and pay for your pumpkins. But it was great fun for the kids. more

Barton's is not just an apple orchard is a day of fun. Barton Orchards is huge and offers everything from apples to baked goods to fruits and vegetables. The best time to go is on the weekends in the fall, it is a huge fall festival. They charge a minimal amount for parking but it gets you access to the farm. Once inside, you will find all different kinds of goods to buy. Also they have a great huge playground set for the kids. The kids love playing on the playset that is shaped like a train set and boat. They also have a little farm and who can pass up the pony rides. They provide free hayrides which take you to the apple and pumpkin fields. Once at the field you can purchase a bag so you pick your own apples. They have so many different varieties. The apples are delicious and its so much fun to be able to pick your own. We go every fall and as soon as they start school, they start asking when are we going to Bartons. Take a trip there, its so much fun! more
