What the hell happened to FYE & Sun Coast? All that mall is now is a collection of clothing stores that all basically sell the same type of clothing and a Spencers. And when you go on the weekends, you find yourself pushing your way through a crowd of mexican middle school kids. Worthless mall. Sadly it seems like every mall has the same format. Too far south for me to care! 3/27/2006

Although I do like Barton Creek because it has a really good selection of stores, I really hate going there. Why, you ask? Because it's way out in the boonies, for me! If you live down south, I guess this is not a problem for you, but in my case anything south of the river is too far south! Barton Creek Mall is mildly crowded at times, but it definitely has a more airy feel than Highland Mall. It also has a better selection of stores and has more of the pricier upscale stores that have become so popular in recent years. more
