I'm shopping for a new bike -- every other dealer I've been to so far has been courteous, very helpful, etc. Until I get to Bartel's Harley. Maybe this is why Harley has the rep it does. There were a few potential customers looking at bikes in the lobby, but the sales guy was sitting down, couldn't be bothered to get up even when i approached him after taking a look at a few of the bikes. They have a big sign in the lobby advertising their current "test ride" promotion, so I ask him how I can get a test ride on a Fat Bob. He tells me they don't allow test rides! When I pointed to the sign, he said there's a place next door that rents Harleys, as if that has anything to do with the test ride promotion. The whole time he looked completely disinterested. Well, they obviously don't need my money, so they won't get it! I'm just about soured on Harley as a whole as a result of this, but I'll give one more dealer a chance.
Pros: Good selection of bikes
Cons: Sales people, policy
