The Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy in Norman, Okla. is one of the largest and best-equipped gymnastics centers in the United States. With more than 17,000 square feet, the main gym includes pits and other state-of-the-art gymnastics equipment and training devices. BCGA is also home to two-time Olympic Champion Bart Conner, as well as to the most famous gymnast ever – Nadia Comaneci. Nadia scored the first "Perfect 10" and won 5 golds, 3 silvers and 1 bronze medal over two Olympic Games. Our gymnastics center was specially designed to allow children to enjoy and develop from when they begin walking through 18 years old! With all of this gymnastics expertise, we feel that we have the finest, most comprehensive gymnastics program in Central Oklahoma.. Our philosophy is that gymnastics can be for everyone. And most of all,it is fun! We offer a year-round program that stresses a positive learning experience for both the recreational gymnast as well as those with a desire to enter competition. Students move at their own pace through the use of proper progressions and training exercises. We have a variety of programs that fit the needs of any child. We are proud that every one of our staff is a professional coach certified by USA Gymnastics. Every staff member has had a background check through USA Gymnastics. In addition each member is required to pass the U100 gymnastics course,also offered by USA Gymnastics. This means they have been trained,tested and certified in proper coaching attitude,progressions,first aid,safety and spotting techniques. Our staff has consistently qualified gymnasts to national levels of competition. We currently have numerous gymnasts on scholarships at major universities. However,the most important thing is that each one of our staff enjoys working with children!
