On days when the know it all party pooping owner isn't in it is an excellent bar, great fun etc. But....when she shows up, everyone walks on eggshells.. Mos old timer customers REALLY don't like her attitude more

Despite the fact that I used to live 3 minutes down the road, I had never been to this theater until a few days ago, and that was only because they were the only theater around showing "Running with Scissors". I always had an impression that this was going to be a snooty, lame, expensive theater. I was wrong! From my experience, the people were very nice and the prices were very fair, especially on concessions. This is a fun theater to visit, because it's so colorful! The decorum is very modern and fun to look at. And there are TONS of stalls in the bathrooms, which is a very good thing. There are 10 screens, and plenty of seats...which brings me to my one and only real complaint. They boast on the website that there are 48 inches of leg room in front of each seat. Which is true, yes. BUT, that's only until someone sits down in the seat in front of you. The seats tend to automatically recline, kind of like airline seats, which is a bit annoying. It doesn't leave you (and the person behind you) very much leg room, in my opinion. But that may not bother anyone else. All in all, this is a great theater. Very clean, and there is a parking deck next to it so parking is never a problem. more

I've only been here once, and while I had a great time, it might not be for everyone. They were having Karaoke when I went, and my friends and I had a lot of fun embarrassing ourselves. The patrons seemed to be much older than a college crowd, and it seemed more low-key. There was also some dancing, which was fun. However, if you are looking for Karaoke, I do believe you can find some livelier places in Birmingham that might have more Karaoke on a regular basis. more
