Barrett Tree Service East was professional, friendly, and reliable and I recommend them wholeheartedly. We have a large oak that was threatening the power lines and cars on the street and an even bigger beech that was brushing against our home. They were on time, carefully assessed the needs of our trees, and made thoughtful recommendations on what should be pruned for the health of the trees and safety of our home and property. They did a great job pruning and left our property clear of debris. Next time our trees need some care, I will call them again. P.S. We priced the job with other crews and found Barrett competative and found them to be more responsiveness and thoughtfull in their approach. I hired barrett Tree service to work on my yard yesterday. They did an outstanding job!! it was a true pleasure to deal with them and specially to come outside and see that they did all I wanted and much better than what I expected. We generally don't hire contractors for anything (in fact, my boyfriend hates them), but there were 2 stumps that we really couldn't handle on our own. I called Trumbull for an estimate and he called back later that day. I couldn't be there for the estimate and was a little apprehensive about leaving my boyfriend to do it. But when I came home and asked how it went... he admitted that Trumbull was "awesome". He was knowledgeable, gave other suggestions and they agreed to grind the stumps, thin the lilacs, and remove a couple other small trees/stumps. He said that Trumbull was very nice and not what he expected from a tree service. The day of, they showed up early and finished the job in half the time (under 2 hours). Trumbull was very nice and introduced me to the crew and walked through the yard together before they got started. They left the yard clean and the cost was just under the estimate (albeit a little expensive, but worth the service). Highly recommended.
