I have been to many schools and all have had their value. This school outranks them all. It teaches martial arts as an art, not as a stock commodity. You learn practical applications for the skills they teach, not just one end of the spectrum (such as just to earn points in a competition, or how to maime). The students come from all ages (5 - 65) and all walks of life (Lawyer, Police (City, Sheriff, Prison Guard, etc.), Student, Insurance Salesperson, Homemaker, Electrician, Retail Staff, Video Rental Store Staff, etc.). Therefore you get experience with all types types, as they say in the school motto, ""Strength Through Each Other"". Oh and to add to it all, there are no contracts, no belt test fees, and it is the least expensive school around as they don't spend a fortune on fancy mirrors, and unrealistic weapons, etc. My son goes too.
Pros: Practical, Real Life, Good Workout
Cons: Hard Work
