I was forced to file a police report when the dealership stole the plates from my car. We had them tow our disabled vehicle so they could appraise it, but got mad when we decided to go with another dealership. They removed the license plates and registration without my knowledge or permission. When I found this out, I called the salesman, David Burns, who told me he had nothing to do with it, and knew nothing about it. The person I should talk to was the used car manager, Tom Buttafuoco, who wasn't in that day. The next day I called Tom, who also had no knowledge and took no responsibility for what happened, blaming it on the tow company, but he did acknowledge that he had the plates. I told him I would be there the next day around 10:00 to get them. The next day, Tom, David, and the General manager are all not in. No one could take responsibility or help. The rude salesman at the door said they won't give me the plates back unless we call the police, so we were forced to report them stolen. I know that car shopping isn't usually pleasant, but if you're getting a Honda, I would look at another dealership.
