Finally found the RIGHT Groomer!!!! 3/1/2012

After years of going through groomer after groomer for my 100 lb German Shepherd, I finally found someone who could do the job RIGHT and at a reasonable price. Barney did a great job with Bear considering his size and age. Barney's facilities are clean and my dog was not locked up in a cage until I got there to pick him up rather put in a kennel where he had more space. The hours are convenient. I was very impressed all around. I've went through many groomers over the years and he is by far the best in my opinion! Pros: null Cons: null more

Do not go there 8/21/2011

Left my Maltese there for 10 days was supposed to be groomed before I got back but was told that Barney was scared of her so she was never groomed. I also think that she has an eye infection and she was put into isolation before I got back. I was told she was scared of the big dogs . I called there twice to see if she was ok and the girl that worked in the kennel seemed so annoyed that I called so I did not call anymore. There is nothing but a bunch of kids working there. I would not recommend this place at all more

Bad temper 5/23/2011

It might be time for Barney to retire. If he has a temper and can change his mood with a snap of a finger with the ownes of he pets I question how he treats the dogs when the owners are not there. I have been uncomfortable leaving my dogs at barneys for well over 6 months. I am glad i found a better place. more

disappointed client 3/27/2011

I will be taking my dog to the vet, thanks to Barney's grooming, he is all nicked up, and has licked his foot so badly from a cut between his toes he has lost all the hair on his little paw, his ears have nicks and I asked for a short cut, and he came out bald...he's been shaking since I brought him home. more

Barneys is nice but... 11/7/2008

We took our lab to Barney's and while the people and the place seemed clean and great our dog ended up with a hot spot that manifested itself right after her grooming experience. \r \r We are looking for a new groomer. more

Nice kennel, but won't go back 10/13/2008

We took our dog to Barney's a couple times when we were going on vacation, and the place was new and clean. The prices were reasonable, and the staff was nice. After we brought our dog home, though, we realized he had developed an eye infection both times he was in the kennel, so we won't take him back there anymore. more

Staff and services are Tremendous! 7/25/2008

I've been taking our critters to Barney's for years. We usually use their kennel facilities, but have also had some grooming work done. Barney is fantastic with our dogs! They always come home with cool bandanas and they smell like a million bucks! \r \r As for the kennel, it's immaculate. Each dog has their own outside area but they all lead out to a very large "play yard". So essentially, the dogs can be inside their individual kennel, outside but in their own individual kennel or out in the "yard" so they can run to their hearts content. Our dogs always come home happy and excited. They do have a cattery, as well, but we have never used it -- though we do have friends who have and they've been more than satisfied.\r \r The staff is, again, fantastic. Barney's is a family-owned and operated establishment and it really shows. more

Great Kennel 4/1/2008

I take my shetland sheepdog to Barneys all the time for grooming, Barney always does a great job on Mollly even if it has been a little longer in between grooms. He is also patient and kind with the dogs. Last week I had to kennel a dog that required special care and again the staff at Barneys did a wonderful job with keeping the dog happy and comfortable. more
