Love it! I love to read so this is a great place for me! It has its very own kids section! Everything a real book lover needs or wants would be thier! Everyone is really nice...

Books galore! There are bookes everywhere in this neighborhood Barnes and Noble. And if you do not find the book your heart desires, then, simply ask them to order it for you. They are really good about that. They even have a little Starbucks cafe inside of their store. Everything is convieniently located in the store and the people are so helpful! I doubt they ever have sales but if you are a member you get 10% off and occasionally they will send you coupons. more

Nice bookstore/ cafe 7/13/2005

This is a nice Barnes and Noble, fully equipped with a cafe ((starbucks, what else)) and they have some pretty nice books there for kids, teens, adults, they even have HOW - TO books like how to knit, how to cook, etc. There are some nifty things there while checking out, like bookmarks, and little mini- how- to books. They have a section dedicated to books on pets. Dog breeds, cat breeds, what breed is right for you, how to recognize problems, etc, etc. It is a nice bookstore, but not as big or as nice as the one in Pleasant Hill. more

Barnes and Noble - Walnut Creek 6/23/2005

This Barnes and Noble, right in Downtown Walnut Creek, is a two story store, with a Starbucks upstairs. They have some seating throughout, but most of their seating is up in the cafe, so you might have to sit there if you want a seat; be prepared for some noise. They have a great selection, and the books they arrange on separate tables throughout the store are always really interesting... I have walked in a few times not expecting to buy anything, but I alwas end up with something! more

Love it! I love to read so this is a great place for me! It has its very own kids section! Everything a real book lover needs or wants would be thier! Everyone is really nice and helpful! You would always want to go here when you need a good book. more

Just what you'd expect 5/18/2005

What can you say, they have it all. A great selection and very will organized store. I am impressed by the extra nice staff. They are all knowledgable. You will never need to wait long for a little help. I agree that the parking is bad at times, but It is nice having a store in a bustling area where there is so much more you can do. Feel free to look around and just relax. The coffee shop is ok, the service is friendly, but a little slow. more

Another chain book store but this particular one is exceptional. Huge environment. You definitely waste a couple of hours here. They have a wide selection of books, and the latest books. Great cafe. Lots of staff to assist you with your journey. more

The Barnes & Noble book store in Walnut Creek is huge, has a great selection and has a friendly staff to help in finding particular items. There are also several places to sit down and read while you are there. They are open from 9-11 everyday which is convenient. The only downside is that the bookstore is located in Broadway Plaza where parking tends to be a bit scarce. But, if you don't mind walking a couple of blocks, there is a public parking lot near by. more
