Not bad of a store 5/12/2005

I like Barnes and Nobles because they carry lots of book notes and study guides. Its not my place to get books, but the magazine collection and stuff is really nice. I really like some of the calendars, bookmarks, and flash cards they offer. But for some reason, its not my usual bookstore. The workers aren't that friendly and I feel awkward there. more

Great Place for Books 5/11/2005

This place is huge with the kids. They can have hours of fun reading or getting read to by their parents. Its easy to get distracted in this place with all their books and great cds. The customer service is wonderful also. I recommend getting a membership for %10 off. more

Better then expected 5/10/2005

I got a gift card to Barnes and Noble last holiday season and was surprised by the size of the store. I've never seen a book store bigger than this. They seriously have rows and rows of books waiting to be read. I also found some other studying supplies, such as premade flash cards for several highschool AP courses and booknotes. A fantastic store for someone looking for a book to read. more

Bookseller Could Use More Options 5/1/2005

When buying books, most of us want options in the various genres of interests we seek. Barnes & Noble Encinitas offers a good variety, but could use more in some areas. The influx of new reads is slow when compared to Barnes & Noble Oceanside or it's compeditor, Borders across the street. Still, an excellent choice for browsing of finding that recent bestseller you've been eyeing. Great "Bargain Book" choices and convenient Starbuck Cafe make this a fun hangout for students and business professionals alike. Recommended, but if you're looking for something extremely specific or unique, you may have to look somewhere else or visit their website. more
