This Barnes and Noble is pretty much what you can expect from this chain everywhere. They usually have a decent selection of widely distributed books, but if you want something that's even a little hard to find elsewhere they probably won't have it. To their credit, they usually have new releases on the release dates though. The store can be a bit on the disorganized side with restocking carts taking up a few of the narrow aisles. Some of the books tend to be a bit banged up too. This is most likely from careless patrons. If the book you want has multiple copies in stock, make sure to grab one from the back of the shelf as the front one will probably come pre-mangled. more

This location is convenient considering I come from sunset park to buy books and cds and they always have what I need and I know the right person to go to. There is only one thing however, the line is very long and it seems they don't move fast enough, when I do get the front the same wannabe tall intellectual with glasses always fills my cup to the top with no room for milk and I told her hundreds of times room for milk please even though she says yeah yeah I go to get milk and when I open it a portion of the coffee spills on my jacket. The worst part is I can tell by drinking it the coffee is old smells like it just sat in the pot for days. I half to honest I will just come to pick up my books and cds and get my coffee somewhere else. Thank god the management is good because i know a few of them for a few years now if this young lady becomes one of the bosses it would be like not knowing weather the movie inception was for real for our star or fiction. more

HORRIBLE Customer SERVICE !!!!!! RUDE !! DISRESPECTFUL! I brought my dog in a bag, because in this neighborhood if you bring your dog in a bag, even thought it says no pets allowed, it is OK! Well it doesn't say no pets allowed, on the window! or anywhere else! i bought my dog, the manager was called, i simply asked for a book, she told me to get out or she was going to call the cops! I told her I just need a book, she told me to get out with the dog! I looked at her angry, She said what don't you understand! I look hispanic i took it as a racist comment! Why would a white woman ask a spanish young lady if she understands english! I told her I am well educated and I speak English!!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!! RUDE! DISRESPECTFUL! RACIST! more

They have a great staff and the books are well kept with no damage done to them. I often come and read or do some work and I am never asked to leave or people looking over my shoulder, asking what I am doing. Great place! more

i have purchased many books on different subjects.i appreciate the attention given me,specially when i ask the silliest of questions.\r they have also made me aware of sales and great deals, i otherwise would have missed.\r i recommend this store to all the people i encounter once i learn they need books or many other things which are available.\r i also recommend not to be a shame to ask for help. \r i am lucky to know that BARNES AND NOBLE are everywhere. As someone who loves to go to bookstores, this is one of my favorites. A lot of people tend to avoid area because of traffic. I still love it and this is a great place and I like to stop in from time to time to check out their inventory which seems to be changing all the time. They also don't mind when people browse for hours and then don't end up buying anything more

I was welcomed on my way into the Barnes & Noble, which was very kind. I found my Regents Review books very easily, since the bookshelves are nicely organized. This is an excellent place for people of all ages to gather and have a quiet converstaion over a warm cup of coffee. High recommended for school-goers looking for a place to rest! more

This huge store has a wonderful atmosphere, good low priced books and excellent employees working there. Every time you go there, you can feel the peace and serenity, while you read books and magazines and sip coffee. I love this place. PROS: good priced books CONS: none more

I am so happy with this particular location of Barnes and Nobles. I get my books for college here. The are always stocked. I never have to worry about running for help because a sales assistant is always there. more

While it isn't teeming with personal touches, the Barnes & Noble has a great selection of magazines. The sales staff will usually leave you to your on devices and not bother you too much. There is a tiny cafe if you want to glance thru a magazine prior to purchase. The children's section is strong. more
