Dr. Taylor.... He is the most caring, giving, and professional vet I have ever and Im sure will ever meet! Ive known and trusted him with two of my dogs' lives since right before he started his practice in Richmond, 12 years ago! And he has never lost his compassion for any animal nor his eagerness to go an extra 100 miles for any animal in need. And as far as loosing a pet, I lost my dog in a two year battle with degen. disk disease, and the night he died Dr. Taylor and his wife came to my house, since I was only 15, and picked him up, prepared him over night, and referred me to a cremoratory for animals... And even sent me flowers... If thats not caring, Idk youll ever find it! \r Ive met and worked with other vets, and they all seem to lack the compassion that Dr. Taylor has. I am a firm believer that animals have feelings and need to be nurtuered in times of pain and sufferring. And they are vey understanding in times of grief. So anyone needing a new vet, please dont look any further. Ull be very impressed here! more

Dr. Taylor is competent and keeps up to date with his practice, which is important. But what separates him from every other veterinarian I have encountered is his genuine concern of animals and their human friends. This isn't just a job for him, it is a vocation. He takes his time with the animal and the human, taking a thorough history. You have only to see him with the animals to recognize how thoroughly he enjoys his work. He calls after hours to check on pets with a serious health problem. He goes beyond what most would expect!\r \r I cannot praise Dr. Taylor enough. He gave my sweet cat the best care, without pushing his agenda on me, but by giving me accurate information and allowing me to make the decision. With his gentle, knowledgeable care we were able to keep my cat with several serious health problems healthy and able to live a good life for several years. \r \r I am grateful to have found Dr. Taylor to care for my cat. Dr. Taylor cares. My poodle is ancient, and he has cared for him as if he were his own. Hand feeding him at times, allowing me to sit with my baby even though the office was supposedly closed, making frequent phone calls to let me know how he was doing, even taking my baby home with him after a hip surgery. My baby is with him now, and although I have no clue how this will end, I know he has been in the best of hands, and that every thing that could possibly have been done has been done. Dr. Taylor took a lot of time with my pet. He did not come in and rush out. He examined the animal and gave me the impression that he loved animals. more
