Barnes Auto 2/4/2014

Barnes auto winterized my Caliber, did a fantastic job detailing inside and outside the car. In fact, my car looked better than new! Once again, jobs well done!! Thank you Barnes. If you don't go to Barnes, you aren't getting the service you and your vehicle deserve. more

top notch repair shop- period! 1/29/2014

I have been lied to and swindled by car repair shops including dealerships that I bought my cars from. The main reason I bring my vehicles to Barnes is because I trust them. They have always been honest, thorough, professional and competent in every thing they do. and that's the main reason I go to Barnes. more

BARNES COMES THROUGH AGAIN! 1/10/2014

Despite their extra-busy time with all our frigid temperatures in early January, Barnes came through for me again! They responded to my distress calls for a "broken" car which "died" in the frigid temps. In one amazing day, they towed it and fixed it, handing me back my wheels (with even a ride to their facility) within one day! They are professional and personable…thanks to Chuck…Misty and Valerie…and all the great mechanics. I am a single Senior female, and their help is golden to me. more

Great, Quick, Reasonably Priced Service 8/10/2013

At 4:50 in the afternoon, after noticing a new "clunk" noise in my car, I drove to Barnes to see if they could find source of the noiise. I was scheduled to leave the next morning for a 5-day out-of-state trip. They quickly put my car on the lift and discovered a broken sway bar linkage. They said they could fix it first thing in the morning, which they did! by 9:30 the next morning I had my car back with BOTH linkages replace at a very reasonably cost. I have been using Barnes for several years and have NEVER had a bad experience or repair charge that I was unhappy with. Russ Westby Arlington Hts, IL more

Accomodation to needs 8/3/2013

My 1997 Civic needed repair - Grandson not always on top of things - and Barnes responded and the needed work was done by the next day enabling the car to be used for a trip to a wedding. Chuck and the mechanics have kept my car going with timely updates and I trust it will last another 134,000 miles. Thank you. more

Despite my lack of planning, the shop took in my car for repairs on short notice. Chuck always carefully explains the problem and what options I have for repair. The work was done quickly and communication was great. I also always appreciate that everyone is so friendly. more

BEST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE!! 7/18/2013

Before even working on my car, Paul at Barnes found an open recall for my catalytic converter. I set up a time at a dealer to get my car serviced for the recall. It was free for the part and service. Most shops would not even catch this. Superior service. Great Job Paul! more
