Barlee's Family Dining

Having just discovered the awful review from ashbrush below, I feel compelled to counter that person's mean-spirited, unwarranted condemnation of Barlee's. Did this person apprise management of the alleged poor service, if it indeed truly happened, which I've never experienced in the numerous times i've eaten there? Or does this person just like to throw rocks? I find the food excellent, plentiful and good quality and the service courteous and prompt. I plan to continue eating at Barlee's regularly, thank you very much. more

The service was slow and poor. I ordered the breakfast burrito, it was gross. The waitress was pouring coffee for the person right next to me when I said my food was gross and she didn't acknowledge it. She never once asked any of us how our food tasted. I ordered a side biscuit, she asked me if I wanted to box the burrito up, I said no, I was done with it. It wasn't even a quarter gone, but I was still eating the biscuit. She didn't even ask if something was wrong with it! All in all I will never go back to this place. The others at the table said their food was good but for the price the portions were horribly small. You get a better breakfast and service at IHOP. This place is awful. No one in my group wants to go back because of the bad service, and we had 8 people there and the consensus was the same. My advice skip this place. more

this place is the ultimate family dining experience in edmonds, it's huge, but not soul-less, it has American style food, Italian, Greek, and a bunch of other fusions. Great place to visit in Edmonds Pros: Oh, I love hte hot cakes and omelettes Cons: none more

Went there on a lunchbreak and we had two sandwiches with fries. We tried the hot meatloaf and the monte cristo. Both were above average for this type of place. Had eaten at this establishment when it used to be called "cocos"...much better. Would recommend to anyone for a good lunch. The french fries are really crispy and the sandwiches were toasted which was great. The monte cristo sandwich was made with cinnamon swirl bread and powdered sugar with ham, turkey, and swiss all dipped in egg and fried. It was great. We walked out full and happy while having paid just over $20 for two meals and two beverages. Pros: portions, menu, choices, value Cons: location more

I've been here a few times for breakfast which is always the best. Lots of choices and all seem to be great. I finally stopped in for dinner and found it to be just as good. I reccomend this place. The food was VERY ordinary and tasteless. The atmosphere is pleasant and nice, so I guess we expected a bit more in the food quality. If you like below average, Denny's like food, this is the place for you. more

After moving from Bothell to Shoreline a year ago, Barlee's has become a family favorite. There is a nice varied menu with choices for any mood and any family members. The kids enjoy the restaurant too. I love the lemon rice soup and the baked tortelinni. When we are not in the mood to try something new, we say "Let's go to Barlee's!" more

Great food, I would recommend it to you...that's right, I'm talkin to you. The hungry one reading this review because he/she wants quality, and that's what you get. Ask for a passionfruit Italian Soda in a fishbowl glass. We have eaten therea few times and been pleased with the flavor and the service. It is great for kids and can be inexpensive if you are on a budget.. The pie is great! Pros: many different types of foods Cons: getting out of the parking lot can be a pain. more
