I want my food to taste good, be reasonably priced, and not cause too much harm to the environment. Bark fails on 2 of those 3 counts. This pretentious but attractively styled eatery tries to justify its high prices by claiming "quality" ingredients and free range, environmentally-friendly habits. If the hot dogs actually tasted better than a Central Park hot dog cart, I'd advise yuppies and hipsters to go for it. But the bland taste of the hot dogs and the stingy servings of other items (i.e. baked beans) is simply unacceptable for the price. Some people claim the burgers are better - but if they're better than the hot dogs, why not go to Shake Shack?
