I take my ten month old yorkie to Bark Central in Tacoma. My little guy, Mango, loves the facility, his new friends, the staff. They genuinely love my dog and keep him safe all day while I am working. He is overly excited to get to ""school"" each day and can barely keep his eyes open on the way home in the car because he has played so hard. I recommend Bark Central for your doggie daycare ! more

I have been going to Bark Central for over a year. My lab, Bailey loves it there, and starts dancing and whinning when he knows we are about a block away. He pushes out of the car to go in, and all his pals are dancing on the steps to announce he has arrived! They treat him great and are great with my sometimes unpredictable schedule. He loves to play, but not so much in the pool. they are great to Bailey and he is in good hands. Thanks Amanda!\r more

Bark Central is the best daycare in the Pacific Northwest. Harley C has been to other daycare and Bark Central is top notch. Harley C loves to go and every time we get down the street or say daycare he get's so excited. From the time we pick Harley C up he goes straight to bed. Chester has been with Amanda and her Bark Central Family for two years. This home away from home is filled with love, genuine care and everything we could ever want when he is there. We visited Tacoma for several weeks and I needed to have daycare for my dog, Clarke. He absolutely loved Bark Central! He loved it there for both daycare and we even boarded over night one time. more

Levi loves Bark Central he is a black lab and weighs about 110 lbs but always has a great time at Bark Central in Tacoma Wa. If you say dogie day care he starts talking (barking) and runs to the front door and back. Then I have a 2 seater car and he sits in his seat until we turn onto 118th and then he stands and starts whining to get out. Then when we open the door he pushes his way out. He loves bark Central and so do we it is a loving dog day care that loves all their dogs as much as the owners do. We can leave our dog there and not worry about him all day and he is always worn out when he gets home. Thank you Bark Central for all you do! more

I have a new puppy & commute to Seattle for work every day so it was important for me to find an amazing day care. Bark Central?s owner is very knowledgeable & genuinely vested in every dog there. My puppy, Savvy, is an Italian Greyhound & I was concerned she would be hurt by a big dog or end up with a scary puppy illness from germs. She has been going for two wks & it?s such a relief to drop her off & know that she is safe, socialized, & I?m not going to come home to a destroyed house & a stressed pup. more

They say first impressions are lasting so, I guess that is why our forever boy stays with Jackie and Katrina. These two loving ladies are what ""home"" feels like. We were put in a situation where we were at a loss where to take our boy. Did we make the right decision - there is no questions the answer is yes. Jackie is educated on all of her ""kids'"" needs and they love her too. So, Jackie - thank you for you - we love you too!!! more

Love this place! 2/27/2011

Just found BarkCentral and I love them!! Always clean and dogs very happy. Started with the grooming service and loved the way the daycare was set up, now I use the daycare. more

Average, but won't be back 8/18/2008

The facility was small for such a large number of dogs. If you are dropping your dogs off for the day, then it seemed okay, but if you plan on boarding them, I would look elsewhere simply because they are caged from 6.30 at night to 6 the next morning. That is just too long for my dog, and I was hoping to find a place that let the dog sleep outside the crate overnight (this wasn't advertised on their website, otherwise I would have chosen a different place). I also questioned professionalism as one of the staff members there chose to dress inappropriately (revealing way too much skin infront and back). Pros: Will tire your dogs out Cons: Crates at night, unprofessional attire more
