This is a very special restaurant. The decor, the staff, and the food combine to make you very welcome. Even the table ventilation is special -- the roof here is clean, unlike some places you could mention. *Cough--Benihana--cough* The food is top-quality, with the unfortunately requisite price, but you'd be paying 50% more elsewhere for less. The ""show"" depends on who's cooking that night -- once we had a nice Latino gent whose take on this uniquely Japanese art form was both hilarious and joyful. This is a family-run restaurant, and the service has always been top notch. Do come early for dinner, as the wait can be lengthy. I can't say enough nice things about Hope and his crew. This is one of our favorite restaurants. Try it out -- I'm fairly sure it will be one of yours, too! Oh, one other thing: when you see a negative review, check to see how many reviews the person has done. The only negative review on this restaurant is by a person with only one review -- the negative one. Care to guess whether it's by a competitor or disgruntled former employee? Either way, it's wrong and evil. Bari-bari means ""hurry up"" in Japanese, according to Hope. You should hurry in today!
Pros: Fresh, fun, clean -- this place is just plain fun!
Cons: An occasional wait -- the best is always busy...
