This is the best resale store for your buck! I go there all the time getting their bag sales and other great deals and as a single mother my boys have never had to worry about not having great clothes to wear. I love this store and only go to a few other resale stores since they usually have what I am looking for :) more

Resale 3/21/2009

We donate a lot of items to Barely Used. From clothing to furniture. They do not always accept furniture, be sure to call to find out what days they will be collecting. I do not think they pick up, you will have to drop off. The store benefits Christ's Haven, a ranch that houses 100 foster children. more

Love Love Love it!!! 6/28/2008

I go every couple of days and always find something. I bought a dryer that was 25.00 and was 75 % off the day I went making it 5.00.I bought it and it works great! There are always school uniform shorts, pants and shirts for 99 cents. My grandkids need uniforms for Irving schools. I have found shoes,a playpen and tons of play clothes. I really enjoy going here. Some days they have more things than others but it is still fun to look around. It can't be beat! more

Better since under new management 4/23/2008

This store is big & before the newer management took over, it had a lot of junk. The store now sells name brand clothes for .99 cents. You can't find that anywhere!. The employees have a lot on there plate keeping the store stocked & clean with all the donations that come through. I think they do a great job. There are times that they have more items than at other times, but,m they have no control, of that since everything is brought in by donation. It benefits Christ's Haven for Children & to me, for that reason alone I have no problem spending my money there. They also will pick up any large items you may want to donate. Give them a try. Very good IF you go at the "right time" 8/4/2006

I've been here several times since it's right down the road. Mostly to drop items off and get drawn into looking around. My best find was a baby bath seat...only one style is still made but doesn't fit our tub so I kept watch on ebay which had ridiculous prices. Found one here for .99!!! I've found brand new socks for baby/children for .49 a pair. Whatever you do don't go after they've just had their 1/2 price sales which I believe are once a month. That's when everything is gone!! PROS: Great deals before sales, frequent sales on different items CONS: store takes to long to replenish after big sales more

Ok resale store 9/6/2005

I went to the Bearly Used Resale shop looking for items to use for a halloween outfit and for clothes to donate to the Hurricane Katrina victims. The store was big and brightly lit but it was old smelling. It wasn't very clean and for such a large store, it wasn't very full. I didn't find much and what I did find was expensive (especially for me to turn around and donate). The girl at the check out wasn't very helpful because she said she didn't know when they got more items and she really didn't know much about the way they accepted clothes and such. I did get a cute dress with the tags still on but that was about it for the deals I could find. The parking was ample but I had a hard time finding it from the directions my friend gave me. more

HOT! But ok stuff... 7/25/2005

I was expecting more out of this store from the rave reviews I had from friends. The store was SO hot. I was about to pass out I was so hot. The stuff they had was pretty nice, but they didn't have as much as I expected. I might have just gone at a very picked over time of the month, not sure. The girl behind the counter looked beyond miserable with the heat. We dropped off a water bottle from the car for her... this made her smile at least! Give it a try if you are in the mood to thrift shop... maybe you'll hit a better time than I did. Location may be a bit hard if you don't know they area... might want to call for directions. They won't be difficult to follow! more

HUGE store, too bad they don't have it filled 7/22/2005

This could be a fun shopping experience, but when you walk in it feels very bare. There is some good stuff here, but it is also a little pricey for a thrift store. more
