I wanted to write a review to let others know about my recent experiences with Bard Optical in Sterling Illinois. I recently changed jobs and consequently my insurance provider changed as well, my previous eye doctor was no longer covered so I searched for a new provider and ended up at Bard Optical. They were unprepared (didn't tell me to bring my contact box). Then the doctor stunk of cigarette smoke to the point where I was ready to leave the appointment. Followed by horrendous customer service as I tried to order contact with August and he asked me how much my insurance company covered and what brand my contacts were. After 3 attempts to get more money from me than he should he finally got them ordered. I will NEVER go back to Bard Optical.
