With the aid of a $10 off coupon, we ventured over to the new Barclay's--wish it were still the old Philanders. This restaurant pretends to be a Champps, but can't even deliver a decent flatbread pizza. I ordered the Italian sausage/banana pepper flatbread, which made my eyes water it had so many peppers! The fried calamari appetizer was soggy and even the cocktail dipping sauce had a spare slice of tomato at the bottom of the dish. Did the cook just miss the trashcan? Our waitress could barely see the menu, didn't know the beer list, and walked away while we were ordering because the phone rang. While the atmosphere in this newly remodeled space is lovely, the service and quality of food is disappointing, to say the least. I hope the kitchen matures over time.
