A FEAST FOR THE SENSES 10/4/2007

THIS IS AN ENCHANTED SHOP! I USED TO GO THERE ALMOST EVERY AFTERNOON IN 1994 WHILE I WAS PREGNANT WITH MY FIRST AND ONLY DAUGHTER, ANDIE. I HOPED SHE COULD SENSE ALL THE HAPPINESS I FELT WHILE I WAS INSIDE THIS WONDERFUL STORE. IT WAS MY PLACE PLACE TO RELAX. THERE IS SOFT MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND, THE SMELL OF YANKEE CANDLES, A COUNTRY STORE FEEL, BEAUTIFUL GIFTS AND DECORATIVE ITEMS, FINE STATIONARY AND CHRISTMAS SHOP. THEN THERE IS THE CAFE! OH YES... THE CAFE, A YEAR ROUND ENCLOSED GREENHOUSE WHERE YOU SIT AT A GARDEN STYLE TABLE DECORATED WITH GORGEOUS FLOWERED PLANTS AND ENJOY TRUE GOURMET SANDWICHES AND CREAMS/SOUPS. This is a wonderful garden center/gift shop/florist and cafe for those looking for a place to spend an afternoon to browse, sip a latte or read a book. There are plants and flowers for sale in their garden center but inside is a huge gift shop perfect for wedding/shower gift (they also do invitations) They have a children's section, Yankee candle, kitchen items, jewelry, clothes, handbags(Vera Bradley) and much more.
