I visited bar louie on a random Saturday night. I had heard about it from a couple of friends, and was in search of a place to drink and dance that was not downtown but still catered to young professionals.\r

My date and I were impressed by the scene as we arrived; we were both under-dressed (I had on jordans and a polo), but the atmosphere was not so pretentious that we felt uncomfortable. There was plenty of seating, whether in a booth, at a table, or at the bar. The DJ played a good mix of popular hip-hop and dance music, which enticed us onto the dance floor. Although there were several people old enough to be our parents on the dance floor, they were easily out-numbered by well-dressed twenty-somethings.\r

I was, nevertheless, disappointed when the waiter brought out the worst tasting White Russian that I had ever tasted. The other drinks that I ordered were average at best. And the tempura shrimp appetizer was not tempura--it was simply fried. So, although the waiter was attentive, we were pretty unimpressed by the food and drinks.\r

Overall, we had a great time, but mainly because the DJ was good and two chilled shots of patron will liven up any night.
Pros: Decent Crowd
Cons: Food is unimpressive/overpriced and drinks need work
