My fiance is a vegan. She heard about this place and wanted to try it out. So we invited a whole bunch of friends to go and enjoy it together.
As we walked in, I looked at the large menu on the wall and had the wind knocked out of me by the prices. There is not a single entree on the menu that is under 13 dollars. And most will run you 17 or more.
Reluctantly, we decided to stay and I ended up splitting a ""pizza"" with my fiance.
For 17 dollars, I expected to get something that was at least the size of a standard dinner plate. However, this thing would have fit in the palm of my (relatively small) hand.
Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious and Omar is a very charismatic and lovable character... but the portions left much to be desired (literally). Even those of my friends who ordered their own dish felt unsatisfied and hungry after clearing the entire plate. We immediately went out for Indian food after our delicious ""salads"" at Living Cuisine.
As much as I want to tell you to support local, organic food, the asking price is just ridiculous. Avoid this unless you are a wealthy raw foodie.
Pros: Omar is a delight.
Cons: Price, Small Portion Sizes, Un-Filling
