They is the wrost of them all. 12/3/2012

I would never in my life go back here.I didn't have any insurance; I was willing to pay for my visit. they told me my bill was going to be 300 n sum thing. When I call it was a 1000 n sum. They didn't help me at all. My stomach is still cramping bad, and I can't hardly move. They gave me a urine test n it's was negative. They should have gave me a ultrasound or something. I have a iud and I told them I have all the symtoms they wouldn't remove it. I never went to a hospital before, but now they make people wanna kill themselves. I think I'm have a mis carriage or pregnant in my tubes. They didn't check any things else, but look at me like I was crazy. more

I went to the emergency room twice in one week. I had bad stomach pain and severe muscle weekness. I know I had a virus and I had gotten dehydrated from it. I was so stressed out because I am a young mother of 3 young children and it scared me. I thought I was going to die. The first visit was ok. They treated me for dehydration and gave me some potassium pills. I went home and 2 days later I still felt like I was going to die. I went back and was treated terrible. They never checked my ears or head. The whole side of my face was numb. They just treated me like I was crazy. My husband and I just walked out. The doctor on duty was so mean and uncaring and I have insurance so they could have at least checked my head and ears. My husband and I just walked out. They treated me like I was just looking for drugs when I never asked for one thing I just didn't want to die and leave my children without a mother. I was scared to death. Horrible place and I will never go back an more

Baptist Medical Center East is the BEST! 6/18/2009

BMCE (Which I still refer to as Humana East myself) has blown us away with their level of service and care. My wife was recently hospitalized for inpatient surgery-hip replacement, no less. I had to take the week off both jobs to be with her at the hospital. Before I go any further, to compare: At BMCS(South), up until the last 2 years or so, our 'default' hospital-not because we like it better, but because it was the 'old shoe' hospital-90% of the time I/we were inpatient and needed something(i.e. more pain meds, bedpan, cup of coffee) and it was past 10 PM, there would be at least a 10 minute delay(we're in the middle of changing shifts, sir.)-no matter what time it was. At BMCE, all I've had to do is walk to the desk and get a very warm and nice, 'Yes sir. Let me know when you need something else.' Instead of a uninterested 'uh-huh' from South. For all our future medical needs in Montgomery, no question, BMCE is the best! more

Bad Experience at the ER 10/29/2007

I had a bad accident and felt the need to go to the ER. The staff was very friendly so they weren't my problem. The physician treated me poorly because I had was taking meds for a surgery that I had recently undergone. I went in wanting an x-ray to make sure I didn't mess up what my surgery had corrected since I had the accident. The failed to give me an x-ray when I asked...then tried to give me a shot that I had informed them a few times of a med that I am extremely allergic to. \r \r Pros: The staff was great\r Cons: The physician was not very pleasant and made me feel worse than I did when I went in. more

Best in Town 4/14/2007

Baptist East is by far the best in Montgomery. We had to take our daughter to the ER at the hospital on Christmas Day( of all days). The entire staff treated us with compassion. The nurses did everything they could to make her feel at ease and comfortable. If the need comes again, Baptist East will be our choice. more

Good Hospital 4/13/2007

No complaints about this hospital. The friends and family that have had procedures completed have all healed very well. The nurses and doctors provided attentive care throughout. more

Great Hospital 9/24/2006

Though Baptist East is smaller than Baptist South, we have found that for all the issues we have encountered to date that it is the Hospital of choice for our family. We like the location, parking is not as big an issue as it is at either of the two larger hospitals and we have found the staff caring and professional. Our second daughter was born at East and it was a much better all around experience for us there than over at South. We like that our doctor's are all starting to relocate office's closer to this facility. Thankfully, we haven't had to use any of the hospitals for a lot of things....but when the times comes I feel certain if it can be handled at Baptist East, that will be the choice we will make. PROS: Good Staff, not as large, good location CONS: more
