went there for some used tires what a bad choice i have made,,, i live here and always go to the home town stoers to buy what i need . well know i know i will go to sears they might even be cheeper... the manager on call was very disrespectful and a very very bad attitude .by the time he got one tire on i asked him how much i owed hin and said 30 bucks then when asked for a recite boy he was not happy..... to bad i didnt let him do all the tires for cash no beer money tonite for him but then again he did take cash from the other 2 ppl that he helped .. i will not go back and you should think about only doing bisness with the owner .... at least i have been told he treats you nice ... good luck finding a tire comp in key west go to sears ... and i had to give one star to post more

On 1/9/2012 i went in and had 2 tires put on the front of my truck and then went home 26 miles away and had to go to the store and got in the truck , but i had a flat more

I lived in Key West for 8 years and thought I would do business with some local people at Banner Tire. I had problems with my power steering. The manager if Banner tire told me I needed a new Rack and Pinion. I had the rack and Pinion replaced, so I thought. Maybe they made an adjustment, but they charged me a little over $650. I was having severe steering problems a couple of months later. Luckily I was in the mainland. I took my car to a friend who recommended a qualified auto repair business. I was told that I needed a Rack and Pinion. They also told me that Banner Tire NEVER replaced my Rack and Pinion but they took my money. If my Rack and Pinion failed on the freeway I could have been killed. If you want quality auto repairs DO NOT GO TO BANNER TIRE. more

The people running this business are incompetent. They put the wrong size tires on my car which produce loud road noise. Then they used the lowest quality brake pads they could buy on my front brakes which cause loud grinding noises every time I brake. Tried to get them to remedy this but forget it! The guy actually was swearing and yelling at me to get out of his shop! Now I will have to dish out additional money to get the brakes done right. The tire noise I will just have to live with I guess! Do not patronize this business or you will be sorry! more

I went to banner tire to get 2 tires. The same exact tires so I have 4 matching tires. When they finish they polished all my wheels and I thought that was a nice touch till I got home. I looked at the 2 new front tires and noticed they did not look the same as the back. then I looked closer and saw they had chipped the wheels all the way around the rim. I went back to banner tire and asked what could be done about this. They told me they had nothing to do with it there tire machine never touch the wheels and BFgoodrich change the design thats why they look differant. I build tires for the Navy with the same machine they use and can tell you the machine does touch the wheel it and when you brake the bead it can miss the tire and touch the wheel. I called BFgoodrich and they told me the design of the tire has never changed. A few day's later I notice my tires were low on air so I took it to sears to have them leaked checked and they found a small pin whole in the wheel. I cannot even imagine how the whole got there but it was not there before I went to banner tires. Banner tire refuses to correct this situation and I will take them to court. If you live in KeyWest please avoid going to Good Year Banner Tire, I don't highly recomend Sears but you are better off going there. Sears was able to use the tire machine with out damaging the wheel. more
