The restaurant is a gem hidden in a suburban strip mall. Great food, seriously wonderful taste and seasoning. I love Indian food and have been to many Indian food restaurants in Northern VA, and I have to say this restaurant is the best. The service can vary from visit to visit, but is usually pretty good. If you want you food truly spicy, try to order from the manager, other wise it will only be moderately hot. more

This restaurant is an Indian Cuisine in Ashburn, VA. All kind of people love this restaurant. The service is excellent. You will get a huge variety of dishes and they are cooked fresh. The neighbourhood loves this restaurant very much. Many people come to eat in this restaurant from various places. more

This is the best place to go for indian food. They offer a large all-you-can-eat buffet with a large selection to choose from. The food is excellent and is prepared fresh. This place offers spicy, and not so spicy dishes to satisfy anybody. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is impeccible. I recommend trying the mango lassi. They are satisfying. more

A good indian restaurant 8/6/2005

Banjara is good, decent indian food straight up. Although I can't say this is one of my favored Indian restaurants in the area, I'm not averse to eating there when in Ashburn. The menu offers enough selections that anybody should be able to find something they like, and the food was prepared correctly and spiced according to request. I enjoyed the selection of breads on the menu and thought the Roti was very good. The rice was plentiful and we had no problem finishing our meals without having any leftovers. A decent spot to eat. There is ample parking and even some ice cream shops in the same strip for you to make a 2-in-1 stop. more

Good Food- esp south Indian cuisine 8/5/2005

I love spicy indian food and this place is a favorite. A great way to sample the food is try the buffet and get a feel of the kind of stuff they have to offer. The ambience is very Indian and sort of casual with Indian paintings on the walls.The seating is great in the sense it is not very crowded with chairs. They offer daily specials which are sometimes great esp the lamb preparations. The south indian cuisine is great- a lot better than lot of other Indian retaurants around here. more
