Amazing Salon and Amazing Staff! 1/22/2011

I have had the hardest time finding a good stylist in Orlando. I heard a radio DJ talking about how great BANGZ is so I decided to try it.\r The staff at the salon are so sweet and caring. I always have a blast when I go there. They always serve me a beverage of my choice. One day, I had a terrible day at work and the owner came to me with a glass of champagne. I immediately forgot my day and enjoyed my time there as I always do. :-)\r Brittany ALWAYS gives me this AMAZING scalp massage when she washes my hair. I feel so relaxed when she's finished.\r She always listens to what I want but then always tells me honestly what would look best for me. She has colored my hair as well as another stylist named Zeus. They both are soooo AMAZING! I have gotten nothing but compliments about my hair ever since I started going to BANGZ.\r BANGZ also sells ENJOY hair care products which have sulfate free shampoos. My hair has never been this smoothe and tamed. I love the products, the salon and the staff. more

Have to brag on Ingrid again! 11/14/2009

I had a cut, high light low light, and style on Saturday 09/24/2011. Not sure why its posting over my old review. I swear she just keeps getting better and better! If there is ever a review on here that is negative about this salon, its a LIE! She continues to learn new techniques and I would NEVER trust anyone else to touch this hair! The entire salon is just beautiful and classy, and I have to admit I just love hearing the owners and Ingrid talk, when I walk out of there I feel as if I am IRISH! Love the ACCENTS! The owners are just dolls, and I am so glad that I stumbled across this salon. Keep up the great world girls!!!!! Pros: Too many too count! Amazing, Fun, and European! Cons: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, would recommend to anyone more

Mai came highly recommended, and she exceeded my expectations. She listens and really cares about my hair. She has excellent technical skills and is also a very sweet person. I am glad to have found a stylist for life! Pros: The oldest, yet best salon in Central Florida Cons: NONE! more

I've been looking for a salon/stylist that has flare but won't drain my bank account-FOUND IT! Ammy was fabulous-very personable and passionate about getting me a style/cut that I would love-and I do. The customer service was top notch and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Being critical, having visited some of the ""best"" salons in the greater Orlando area, I would definately recommend Bangz to anyone. Pros: friendly, welcoming atmosphere; very gifted stylist, reasonable rates, fun location Cons: not snobby enough for snooty people ;) more

Trendy yet sophisticated hair 9/4/2008

I just moved to Orlando about a month ago, and I have been looking for a good place to get my hair cut. I have really short, razored hair, that I'm very particular about. I had been going to the same girl for three years and was very apprehensive about trying someone new. I love my new haircut! I had Ingrid, who is amazing and actually uses uses a hot razor instead of a regular one. It works great, and is better for your hair than a conventional razor. I will definitely go back again! I recommend Bangz to anyone, but especially for people who like to be a bit creative with their hair. Ingrid is very attentive and will strive to give you exactly what you wanted! Great cuts, great people, and FINALLY great atmosphere! 6/18/2008

I have been going to a few stylists at Bangz for over 9 years. Their prices are reasonable for a stylish and trendy haircut. The newest management is very good at making sure that people are comfortable, feel welcome, and are satisfied with the work their staff does. I have seen both Linda and John. Both do a great job, and depending on the type of haircut your looking for will dictate which one you may like best. Recently Bangz just finished some much needed renovations to the inside of the salon. Now it looks almost as good as it really is. I highly recommend checking them out. I have been to Gary Lambert a few times (paid almost twice as much) and didn't like the cut I got nearly as well. Pros: great people with lots of talent. Cons: a lot of construction in the hallway to get to the salon more

Utter Nonsense AGREED!!! 2/9/2008

I recently visited Banz Salon as a walk in and was fortunate to get booked with a young lady named Desirai. She did an outstanding job and was very personable and genuine. The moment I sat in her chair she was concerned with my hair and what I was willing to do with it. It was important for me to get a style that I would be able to style myself without having to see a professional. She explained in detail what she was going to do before she did it. When she was done, it was exactly what I expected. Desirai, thank you so much for making me look fabulous!!!! Not only did Bangz Park Ave gain a wonderful Hair Stylist but a long time client. more

Did this stylist finish school or what! 2/3/2008

I recently came to your nice salon and was given to Desirai to do my hair. I was very disappointed in the results and will not be back. She didn't listen to anything I had to say it was all about her and her boyfriend and how great she was. When I complained to her all she could say was to learn to live with it. Well live with this-I am going to tell all my friends NOT to come see you. more
