Bangor Pet Resort & Spa

Bangor Pet Resort is a wonderful place to be a dog! Peter performed a miracle by incorporating our lab mix, Ruby, into his playful and happy group of canines. Ruby's background makes her very anxious around other dogs, but not when Peter and his calm, kind and capable assistants work their magic. We discovered BPR last summer when we were in Maine, and I was glad to be able to take Ruby back there twice again this summer. The second time, as soon as she realized where she was, she ran to the door - tail wagging and smiling with her whole body - and never looked back. The frequent video clips allowed me to see her in among the other dogs, enjoying being part of the pack, throughout her stay. Ruby and I BOTH look forward to next summer's visits. The fact that we stay in Waterville and that I prefer to drive to Bangor than go anywhere else says it all! more

I'm a stay at home dog mom to two rambunctious Boxers. They get plenty of attention, daily walks, have each other to play with and a large back yard. I try to take them to daycare at least once a month. The dogs love it there, they start bouncing all over the car once we turn down the road to the daycare. The people there know them by name and the dogs obviously like them. I've watched my female almost knock over the owner to give him a welcome lick and he just laughed and petted her. They have video clips of the visitors on their Facebook page. It was very comforting when I had to board them for a week and could see them having fun even though I was thousands of miles away. Bangor Pet resort and spa has always treated us well. I love the fact that when we board our dogs they got to play all day rather than just being given a couple of short play sessions for the day. more
