This is a very well run store. They are known for selling fresh halal meats and variety of freshwater fish. Of course there's also vegetables. This South Asian store also has all sorts of spices, rice, roti, and of course an awesome selection of sweets. They take phone orders for meats and fish so you don't have to wait for them to cut it. I highly recommend this place top anyone. more

Nice Store 11/6/2009

This is a very good shop for bengali food items.They Sell good Hilsa and got a very good collection of sweet water fishes. Prices are very good. People in the store are friendly. more

good south asian grocery store 8/29/2005

Bangla Bazar is a nice cozy place for South Asians to do light grocery shopping. It is a nice place to find bangla spices, snacks, rice, roti, flour, samosa, and etc. You may even ask the store keepers for special orders from Bangladesh, it might take a while, but it will be there. Pricing is fair at Bangla Bazar. Store keepers are very friendly. They also offer Bangla and Hindi movies and music for sale and rent. They have the most recent movies and drama series from both Bangladesh and India. The store is neat and clean. It is open during normal hours during the day. more
