Bangkok Gardens is a small Thai restaurant located in downtown Columbia, across the street from the Blue Note (music venue). It has about 10-15 tables, many of which are for two people, so a larger group might have trouble being seated. That is the only real downside I personally see. The service is great, attention when desired but not bothersome at other times. The food is wonderful, with about 25-30 dishes to choose from. You can specify what type of meat you want on most dishes, with tofu as an option for vegetarians. My personal favorite is Demon Chicken, you should try it! You can also chose the level of spiciness, from 1-10. I am not a huge fan of overwhelmingly spicy foods, so I get a 3, and it is very mild. The price is very average for a Columbia restaurant, expect to pay about 10 dollars plus tip.
