I went to Bangkok Cuisine in Rochester Hills with my girlfriend and my son. When we first entered the restaurant, the hostess asked us: ""How can I help you?"" rather than the normal, ""Hi. How many?"" or ""Smoking or non?"" restaurant question. This made us feel rather unwelcomed, but we chose to dine anyway. When we sat down, our waitress came over and brought us two waters and nothing for my son. Instead of asking us if we would like something else to drink, she simply said: ""Are you ready to order?"" We needed a minute and we told her so. After we decided she came over and I began to place my order. In the middle of my order, she screamed: ""OH MY GOSH!!"" and turned her head to the back kitchen and walked away from our table - right in the middle of our order! We were both in shock. She came back to our table, no apology or anything, and proceeded as if everything was normal. What happened in the kitchen to upset her so much, neither of us are sure. After we received our food, which was brought to us by another server, my girlfriend was not happy with her salad. When our waitress came over and she politely told her that she wasn't happy and would like something else, the waitress said nothing but only rolled her eyes and huffed away. When my girlfriend's second meal arrived, the slammed the plate down and again said nothing. We had to wait for water refills and boxes, which were both brought by other, more friendly servers. When she finally brought our check, she said nothing again. We are both servers ourselves and she really screwed herself by giving us horrible service. When we left the restaurant, we noticed that we had forgotten our boxes. My girlfriend went back into the store, and asked the waitress if we had forgotten out boxes. She looked at her and said, ""How would I know? I haven't even been over to your table yet!"" and huffed away once again. The food was great, but I would NEVER return.
Pros: Great food.
Cons: Awful service.
