This quaint restaurant provides plenty of romantic atmosphere, privacy and excellent food! We were seated promptly, and the service throughout the entire meal was spot on. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to locate the restaurant, it's easy to miss if you've never been before. Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Very Romantic Cons: Limited Seating more

great local restaurant 7/3/2003

We discovered La Maison about a year ago. This restaurant is in a ""house"" on Castro Valley Blvd, so it is hard to see it. Their menu changes seasonal. Once we have the fried fog legs, and the sauce that goes with it was excellent. Best dish I ever have there. When you order an Entree, it comes with a salad before your Entree, then a dessert after the Entree. Portion is perfect and the price is excellent. Pros: Great food, Great price more
