This place is horrible. These people have no idea what they are doing. I took my dog here and they gave me two options death or spend thousands of dollars. I switched my options and went to a different vet and it only cost me 800.00 dollars and he survived. This place has no common sense and they think just because they are nice and ""reasonably"" priced that it entitles them. I will never ever recommend banfield to anyone and I hope they get shut down. more

Best pet care EVER 12/10/2013

I have had many different types of pets and lived in many places and found that Banfield is in general very convenient, they can get your records anywhere in the country in a matter of minutes with just your name. \r I have mostly only gone to the Eagan location but i can tell you that they know me and my pets by name and genuinely care. The doctor is always firm and honest with me, which I need seeing as how I know how to keep a dog happy but not healthy.\r When my little guy got sick I called in a panic the front desk staff asked me to hold, after about 10 seconds my dog's primary Doctor picked up and was ready to listen as if I was the only person in the world. He took the time to listen to my probably unrelated worries. He researched and contacted specialists to make sure my dog got the best care. I decided to wait with my dog for the day even though they probably would have preferred I not watch over their shoulder all day they let me. The front desk girl checked in on me periodical more

Awful place for pets, don't let their friendly service fool you, look at your pet records. I think Banfield's parent company must be an animal pharmacutical distributor! Good service, higher priced 9/13/2005

We've taken our cat to Banfield for his yearly exam and shots. The price was fine, but we had a first time discount coupon. The staff is very caring. They can usually get you an appointment the same day too, which is nice. Their pricing for services is a bit higher than most independent veterinarians. PROS: Good service and conveniently located inside Petsmart CONS: Costs more than most independent vets more

Caring and Concerned - Perfect for your pet!! 8/14/2005

Banfield Pet Hospital is located in Eagan, Minnesota - inside of the Petsmart store. We have taken our dog, Tilly, there since we got her in September of 2004. These folks are amazing. They have taken such good care of our dog - from being run over by a car and needing cortizone shots to caring for her when she was there to be spayed. They always call the day after any type of treatment to follow up and make sure things are going well. Tilly's doctor is Dr. Cologgi and he is fantastic. Very knowledgable and gentle. The nurses are all fabulous, as well - they remember us every time we're in and make sure Tilly (and mom and dad!) are comfortable with whatever they're doing. I cannot recommend this office enough! more
