My dog had been displaying unusual behavior such as , loss of appetite, shakiness, and lethargy for two days, symptoms seemed to be worse and since I just got the dog I did not have a regular vet. I decided to look for the closest place to my home so I did some quick internet research and the Banfield Pet Hospital popped up. It was close by, stated they welcomed walk-ins, and showed office hours until 7 p.m. I got there at 6pm and I was told my dog could not be seen because they closed at 7? Both front desk girls were rude, they did not ask why was I coming in, I had to tell them I thought it was probably something real serious since he had all these symptoms. One of the girls called the vet and with an expression of unbelief and sarcasm told the vet that I claimed this had been going on for two days as if I were lying. Then I was told that I should go to the emergency room instead!! They gave me an address and when I asked how could I get there they did not know???? I felt soo angry and at the same time very sad for my dog. I do not understand how is it that these people work there. I know that close to the end of your working day everyone wants to go home as soon as possible, but 6pm was an hour before there closing time. Horrible people and questionable Vet. Would not take my pet there even if they paid me to do so.
Cons: un-caring, bad staff, questionable vet
