Our dog went in for vomiting and not eating, she was diagnosed with dental and gum disease. Only a small note about abdominal disease in the examination report. No consultation was given about her firm abdomen. She was given antibiotics for the dental and gum disease. She was taken back the next day with no change and was sent home with tablets to prevent vomiting. No change in two days so we took her to another vet and found she had Pyometra and could have passed away very soon if left untreated. If we had stayed with Banfield she would have passed away.
