I will never use Banfield again. They clearly do not care about their clients, or their furry friends. Last November, the week of Thanksgiving, my cat started acting strangely. He wasn't eating his food, he was very clumsy, he was meowing constantly, all things that are clearly outside of his normal behavior. In an effort to see what was going on I took him to Banfield Pet Hospital. After observing him for roughly thirty minutes, she gave a list of tests she recommended to get more definite answers. I could not afford all of the tests, so they suggested I sign up for their program where you pay per month. (Like insurance for pets, but they can't technically call it insurance since they are not agents.) I agreed, and he was taken back for quite a few tests, one of them being a urinalysis to check his urine for irregularity. After his tests they couldn't come back with any results, only a response of "it might be a tummy infection". They sent me home with medicine for him to help him urinate or have a bowel movement, as he hadn't had any in two days to my knowledge. After we left he wasn't using his back legs at all, which I thought might have been from some poking and prodding they may have done near his rear when giving him tests. I made a mental note to monitor it.
