Banana Boat Ice Cream

I've never been to this place when there wasn't a line, that's because it's WORTH THE WAIT. I usually get a hand dipped waffle cone, junior size, and it regularly over feeds me AND my husband with some left over. The ice cream isn't TOP notch, but it's by no means low quality. I leave Banana Boat satisfied every time. There's not really any seating though, we usually take the pickup and sit on the tail gate because the two picnic tables are usually occupied. A must stop during a Flint summer. more

I highly recommend going to the Banana Boat Dairy Delight if you're looking for a lot of ice cream for cheap! The soft serve tastes great and you get a lot of it for not much money. My one warning is that start of with the smallest cone size, because you'll be surprised with how big a small is! Their flurries are also great and large sizes as well! The one thing is that the outside area isn't very nice to sit at, so if you want to get your ice cream to go it's a great deal. If you want to sit and lounge around this may not be the best place, since it's right off a major street, and it's a little dirty after all of the people come and get their over sized cones. Lastly, on a hot summer weekend the line can get kind of crazy....so be prepared to wait awhile in line. more
