After trying a couple of other kids' salons in the VC, I've finally found the right place for us. My 2-year-old son enjoyed the playhouse, (free) video games, toys, books, etc., and wanted to stay, even after his haircut was over. Donna was great. Very professional. She's been in the same location for 25 years, she told us, which proves she's doing something right! My son's haircut was great, and the price ($20) seemed fair. Just before us was a couple with their daughter's first haircut, and she screamed her head off and was writhing around like a wild monkey, and Donna was delightfully patient. She even spoke kindly of them after they were gone -- most stylists I've encountered would take that time to grumble and criticize. Anyway, good stuff. I will be going back regularly and recommend her services to anyone. She even does cuts for adults; we speculated that she cuts a lot of men because they like to play free video games!
