learn something new 10/5/2005

What a strangely unique museum! The Baltimore Public Works Museum was once the city's pumping station. It takes you "behind the scenes" to examine a city's infrastructure, upon which urban life depends. you earn about bridges, tunnels and roads. The admission is really cheap, only $2.50 for adults and free for kids. So if you are in the area, stop by and learn something new. more

The Baltimore Public Works Museum is inside of a historic pumping station. The museum's goal is to inform you on how a city works. Exhibitions teach you about the bridges, tunnels, waste, recycling and may other important systems in a city. These exhibitions teach you how they work and why they are so important. There is even a maze made out of pipes and drains. Very informative and fun. more
