An all-day affair that will leave you as tuckered as if you climbed Mount Washington. Easily one of the most appealing hikes in the White Mountains with dense woodlands, rushing streams and an open, rounded ridgeline with stupendous views.
Leave route 113 and ascend both North and South Baldface via the circle trail. Continue north to the Bicknell Ridge Trail and descend. Total distance is almost 10 rugged and demanding miles, so make sure you're in shape.
