I hate to say this but I needed some fast cash and I had some old jewelry that I never wore so I decided to pawn it. I came across Balboa Pawn Shop on the internet and they seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. When I went in, they were so nice and friendly, They were able to tell me what I could get for the items I was selling. They gave me a great deal. If I was to need to sell any other items, I would come to Balboa Pawn Shop. They also sell high end pieces as well. more

If you want top dollar this is the place to go. My experience has always been fast and easy. They provided friendly service, and they were not intimidating or pushy like other places. I went to 4 other places on 2 coasts and they gave me the best price. I have been back twice, and always satisfied. more

I absolutely love this Pawn Shop! I've managed to find some beautiful vintage jewelry pieces that are of great quality and for brilliantly low prices. I got a vintage 1930's Rolex watch from here and I get compliments on it ALL the time and the price was unbeatable. I've been going past this pawn shop for years before actually going inside and I am so glad I finally did. When I compare the prices from a regular jewelry store to here, the delta is vast! more

I have always been skeptical about pawn shops...The reason I keep going back to them is that after my first experience there, when I actually left with more money than I thought the item I was pawning was worth, I knew these people weren't trying to rip me off, just fair and honest people dealing in the buying and selling of used stuff. Overall, this is one of the best pawn shops around. Check it out for yourself. more

Great Place, Nice People, Excellent Service. I sold a bunch of my mom's old jewelry and these guys handled my transaction quickly and safely. I got my cash right away and I couldn't be happier with what I received for it because I didn't think it was worth that much. My friend referred me to them and he explained that if you go pretty much anywhere other than here, you would get ripped off. I took his word for it and I'm glad I did because these guys couldn't have been any better, seriously. more
