Balboa Pawn Shop

Went there yesterday for the first time to check out a vintage guitar prepared to do the usual tough customer routine from my bad experiences dealing with Pawn Shops. I have to say I immediately realized these guys were different, they were actually nice Salesman and very reasonable people. They treated me with respect & dignity like they actually wanted my business, not like they were doing me a "Favor". Anyways the guitar I went to purchase had sold an hour before I got there, they told me they would have held it for me if I would have called but it never even occurred for me to even ask. Anyways one of their salesman presented me with a great custom built Fender Telecaster that I immediately fell in love with and they lowered the price to a very reasonable amount for me to take it home that night so I didn't leave empty handed. Now that's great service if you ask me! Of course I've never pawned anything there and hopefully I'll never be in a situation where I have to but if I ever did this is the place I would go. These guys are great and I highly recommend them, They'll change your opinion of how most people view Pawnbrokers, Highly recommended!!!! AAA+++ Pros: null Cons: null more

After a nasty divorce, my ex mailed (YES-MAILED!) her wedding ring back to me. I could not wait to get some serious cash out of that thing. I brought it to balboa pawn and they gave me way more then I thought I would get out of it. It certainly will not cover divorce court costs, but it will help! more
