I am a visitor to the New Orleans area but plan to visit this Spa any and every time I come back!

When I called to schedule for my friends, I scheduled several services. The manager was suppose to send me an agenda. I had to call back three times. They did not return my calls....

A very relaxing experience!! 11/11/2010

I was visiting New Orleans and staying in the Loews Hotel. I decided to visit the Spa while my husband was attending meetings. Booking the appointment was easy and the massage was fabulous. The staff was very friendly, and welcoming! They had delicious fruit water and soothing music playing by the pool. The whole experience was very relaxing. I would definitely return back to the spa and recommend it to my friends if they ever visit New Orleans!! more

Best Spa Experience 8/16/2010

I stayed at the Loews Hotel last week and decided to treat myself to a serivce at the hotel spa. Balance Spa & Fitness exceeded my expectations and delievered a one of a kind spa experience. The staff there was friendly and very helpful. more

Not What I Expected 5/16/2010

When I called to schedule for my friends, I scheduled several services. The manager was suppose to send me an agenda. I had to call back three times. They did not return my calls. When we arrive, they did not have enough robes for everyone. The receptionist seemed somewhat overwhelmed and confused. There is not a lounge to sit and relax with your friends, unlike most of the spas I have gone to. The only thing that they served was lukewarm water in platic cups - very different from Bella Donna's. We had to order food and eat in the muggy, pool room and pay too much. And then the fries were burnt! I will say that my massage was very good, but because of the atmosphere, I will not go back. I guess next time we are going to the Ritz! Thank goodness for great girlfriends, because we still had a ball. If you are going to a spa, I recommend somewhere else. Pros: Great Hot Stone Massage Cons: Several Cons more

Good service, but NEVER going back. 5/30/2008

The service was good, and it was nice and relaxing. But when I checked my bank account a few days later, there was and extra $300 missing from my account. I called the spa and they told me that they added up my total wrong and that the first charge was void. But they were never planning to call and tell my that they had made a mistake and that the service was more than I signed for. Legally, they did nothing wrong. But if they were expecting me to ever come back, they should have had the decency to call and tell me what was going on. more
