Baja Fresh Mexican Grill

Baja Fresh is located in Springfield, PA. It used to be a strictly West Coast Mexican grille and I was so excited to hear that I could now have it Pennsylvania and not have to wait until a trip to California to get a great burrito. The food here is fresh and tasty. My favorite are the burritos. Baja Fresh is a step up from fast food and although you will wait a little longer than you would at a McDonald's, the higher quality food will be worth it! more

THe Baja Fresh Mexican Grille is a clean, tastefully decorated "healthy" fast food joint. They pride themselves on having no can openers or microwaves. so the food is isn't exactly fast. You place your order at the counter and wait for you named to be called to pick up your meal. So far, I have ordered a salad, burrito and tacos, all are good, but have a strange aftertaste that I cannot put my finger on. Platters come with a choice of beans and rice. You can add extras at the salsa bar according to your preference, hot or mild. I do like their tomato salsa - chunks of tomato with onion and cilantro. Kids menu is half decent too. I like the guacamole. Prices are a little higher than I expected, around $7 and up for platters and salads. You can get things "a la carte", if you choose. This is no gourmet food but its good and I would return. more
