We took my daughter and a friend to Boston for her birthday and stopped here for dinner. We were seated right away at a cozy spot looking out on the street. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and more accommodating (they brought her a dessert with a candle). Each of us raved about our meals (fajitas, nachos, tacos and quesadilla)... we eat tex-mex alot, but this was way above average. And the bill was agreeable too! We highly recommend it. more

Great Value, decent food 2/17/2006

Kind of hidden on the South End side of Back Bay, this place has amazing prices, big portions, and you can always get a table on nights when you have to wait an hour at other places. The fajitas and burritos are both excellent. Free chips and salsa. The ribs are actually pretty good too. Definately a great value place. Food is better than the Border Cafe, and you don't have to wait 2 hours to eat. Pros: Fast seating, GREAT prices, big portions more

Don't bother - food is not that good 12/7/2005

The sangria was not very good - to the point where my friend actually sent it back and got a beer. The food was so-so. We had nacho's as an app and quesadilla for dinner. The nacho's were ok, the quesadillas were worse. No need to return. Pros: cheap Cons: not very good food more

great overall experience 9/2/2005

i really like this place. theres a lot of bad mexican food around boston and this is one of the better ones. The food is delicious, the service was great and the sangria out of this world. prices were very reasonable with most entress in the 9 to 10$ range and that included free salsa and chips and sides of rice and beans. it was a lot of food too. I hope more people will go as they don't seem to do much business at night and I want them to succeed. Pros: inexpensive, delicious, great service more

I just went here for dinner for the first time and was very impressed. Fast service, great food, and a tasty margarita. I'll be bringing my happy hour crew here for sure. Pros: quick service, large portions, margaritas more

Food was very good, although our waiter was a little slow and did not give us refills on our drinks as soon as we would have liked. Great location, close to Back Bay station. more
