Nobody like having their car in the shop. But for me, as much as I dreaded it after a moderate collision, this place turned out to be just the no-nonsense family owned place I needed. A pleasant surprise, for once, with body shops! . I brought my three year old Lexus IS350 to Bair's. Insurance was covering most of the costs. I picked the place pretty randomly, but my insurance company was familiar with them so that was reassuring. When I droppd off the car, Mike, the owner, met me personally. Friendly, no BS on the fact that it would take at least 10 days, which I was just as glad to hear up front instead of BS later. The set-up with the rental car locale was streamlined. The communication between me, Bairs and my insurance company was efficient. The adjuster ended up needing to make a second trip out to the shop, which was set up and completed efficiently. I was kept posted on the progress of the car. I got Mike on the phone when I had a question and answered it easily. Most of all, when i got the car it looked LIKE NEW. Perfect. And they had detailed it inside and out, which was very kind. I would send anybody to this place again. Especially if you're on the west side!!! more

This auto body shop is convienent and reliable! I Had some bumper damage on the back of my BMW and Bairs totally pulled through for me!! Looks like new! more

I first went here b/c I was in a car accident and my insurance broker referred me in 2006 telling me Mike and his team will take care of me - and they sure did! Mike was very friendly and knew how to deal with insurance claims and made sure the job would be done right and in a timely matter. He even upon payment gave me a little discount since he knew my insurance broke referred me. Just recently I had done some minor damage to the side of the my car and knew the place to get it fixed was at Bair's. This time I wasn't going through insurance and so they brought the price down to help me out. The work they did was amazing and got my car back with in that week. Erin, the gal that keeps everything running in that shop was so friendly and helpful. Not once was I worried to leave my car thinking it wouldn't look the same when I returned. I recently scratched up the car door on my Honda Civic when I hit the pole next to my parking space. Ouch! \r When I took it in to get an estimate to get it repainted, Mike and the guys in the shop actually washed off the scratch and mixed a touchup kit for me. For nothing. They actually said, "I'm not going to recommend you do something that you don't have to do." Amazing! Their estimate to repaint was totally reasonable too. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. To everyone! more

I recommend Bairs Keystone Body Shop to everyone I know who has had any kind of body damage to their car. For the third time I have taken a car there and Mike Smilove and crew did just as amazing a job as ever. My van looked the best it ever has when I picked it up. They went way beyond what I expected...the car was waxed and beautiful and every scratch dent and scrape (trust me, there were many) had disappeared. The inside of the car was clean as a whistle and smelled wonderful (no small feat: I have children and a stinky dog). Dunno how they did that. \r No hassles dealing with my insurance company because and Mike and Erin (who runs the office) handled all that They were professional, kind, and easy to deal with. I just had a great experience. I picked up my car at Bairs auto body. I had almost totaled my very expensive car. Bairs was recommended to me and I am ever so grateful. Mike was terrific. He promised to have it done in 3-4 weeks and it got done sooner, no problems, he handled the insurance co. and the adjusters.\r My car is showroom new !!! and mike even touyched up some dings not related to my accident. \r I will recommend Mike Smilove and Bairs Keystone to one and all. I recently backed my Jetta into a semi truck, demolishing the rear end. A friend of mine recommended I take it to Bairs. I myself am a girl and car stuff totally gives me anxiety. I couldn't have made a better decision, they were super patient with me through the whole ordeal and I actually had a way more difficult time with my insurance company than with the actual reconstruction of my car. Got in a fender bender with my Audi Q7 and the most dependable people throughout the ordeal were the good people Bair. the service was excellent, the car came back looking like new, it has been over 2 months since the repair and everything works absolutely perfectly. I've brought cars to Mike and team there multiple times and they do fantastic work. I've shopped the work I've needed done at other locations and they are always AT LEAST 25% cheaper (recently I had body work done on my Audi and they were nearly 50% cheaper than the nearest estimate I got!). They try their hardest to get it done on time too and sometimes are early. It's a welcome to deal with car repair guys who seem frank, honest, and upfront. Do you know what a job well done is? I do. My mother and I both brought our cars there on the same day (thought we'd get a group discount.) They were so nice. It took hardly any time to make the arrangements, and I even got an updating phone call. They were so professional. I tell all my friends to go there now (and so does mom!) more

The guys at Bairs Keystone were great. The owner, Michael Smilove, personally came out and helped me. He could see how upset I was at the damage on my car, and was able to calm me down. Excellence in detail. My car looks better than the day I drove off the dealer's lot. I have a 2006 Audi which was mashed in a rear-end collision. I went straight to Bairs Keystone. Everyone knows their rep for being the best. They've been my personal body shop for years. This is my third Audi (I have a history of being accident prone.) \r Mike has the propensity to be passionate about his business. \r I've read other reviews here that stated how a personality turned people off. Let me begin by telling you that I used to work at a busy auto-body shop in the Valley, so I know how these guys can be. I don't go in expecting to be treated like a princess, brown-nosed and kissed-up to; I know that body-shop guys are on the rough side customer-service-wise. \r What I do expect is superior work on my car. This is exactly what I received from Bairs Keystone. Mike came highly recommended from a respected source (I knew not to expect prince charming) and I did my part; not grinding him with pointless price comparisons...I let him do what he needed to do. I would never be so inconsiderate as to wave other body-shops bids in front of his busy face, never interrupt any business person engaged in another conversation, and never be annoying enough to provoke anger. I have been a Bairs customer for over 15 years. I have never been unhappy with the service on my Audi. I have always received fair estimates (or lower than other shops) and the work has been completed in a timely manner. Michael and his staff have always conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism. I have repeatedly recommended this shop to friends and family. I am one happy customer! Hands down, I'm impressed by the overall level of service this shop provides. Yeah, the auto body business has a bad reputation overall, but Bairs Keystone and it's employees are top-notch. It's already stressful to have to figure out which repair service to take your car to, but after my Z3 got smashed up, Michael gave me a fair estimate ($800 less than anywhere else) and agreed to fix some additional dings and dents for a minimal cost. You have to hand it to him, he might be a little short with words, and come across as brash or rude, but in this business, time is money and things need to be kept in line to put the various pieces of your car (and 20 others in the shop) back together. \r \r Service is also top-notch. Erin, who works in the office, kept me appraised of the progress and is friendly. When something is wrong, or doesn't look right, Michael takes the time to make it perfect.
