Baileys' Chocolate Bar

This is a unique place to go, and it is nice on the weekends for a night out with friends or just with you significant other. The name really says it all, in that you can get just about anything here that is chocolate flavored. The drinks are especially good here. They do have a limited menu of food items (non chocolate). Prices are what you would expect. The atmosphere here though is very cool and sophisticated. A definite place to check out. more

Chocolate everything. That might be all I have to say. But also beautiful interiors with lots of velvet and candlelight. And they bring a bowl of cookies to your table. They have an amazing selection of chocolate drinks from beer to martinis. Also a limited, but good selection of food such as pizzas. more

I wanted to provide something special for my mother, who is getting married after being widowed for several years. I thought a gift certificate to Bailey's would be a nice idea to include with her bed and breakfast gift certificate. I can honestly say that the service provided over the phone was poor by Bailey's. They neglected to tell me that my mom wouldn't be able to use the gift certificate to pay for tips PLUS they charged me FIVE extra dollars just to mail me the certificate (without telling me about that first!) making that a 20% surcharge! When I called them, there was nothing they could do to rectify this situation. more

even if you dont like chocolate, there's other things on the menu. its like Absolutely Goosed got lost in the french choco bakery. they've changed management, updated their style, and gone nuts!!!this place packs'm in almost every night and no wonder, they are the best i've found in midwest (and i'm from Chicago!). i'm not sure if they serve chocolate filled croissants tho their menu is often changing. love the decor and the ambiance!!! great for a first date, romantic outing with your husband, or a get together for girlfriends and men who are into sweets. its a great spot, close to Lafayette park and check out their website, since looks like they've added some food to their menu, so you wont starve on just plain chocolate dessert and chocolate martinis. :) http://www.baileyschocolatebar.com/ more

This is such a cool place to go for drinks and desert. If you love chocolate than you will love the Chocolate Bar. I think the chocolate martinis were good, I liked the Thin Mint. As for deserts, you have to get the chocolate tasting plate so you can sample lots of things. They also have good ice cream and appetizers. more

I love this place. It has a great atmosphere with interesting eccelctic decor. They serve drinks, coffee, tea, and dessert and the main theme is, of course, CHOCOLATE. Try the chocolate martinis...yum. Their dessert menu changes with the seasons. Its a great first date place or, if the weather is nice, to hang outside with friends. The prices are moderate but well worth it. more

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate!! The chocolate bar has everything for the chocolate lover and will surely make any non- into one after enjoying dessert in this eclectic bar.
