Took a thrift shop antique that my wife and I found to these butchers. They destroyed the entire piece. The use some sort of stripper that they pour over the furniture. Then to remove the softened varnish etc, THEY USE A PRESSURE WASHER. Wood and water do not mix!!! They left my antique with about 10 percent of the finish still on it. Additionally every single drawer bottom, dust shield, as well as the sides and the back were warped. Three days after I picked it up, the majority of the glue joints holding everything together, fell apart!!!!!!! I have had tons of antiques stripped before and Never Ever Ever have I had results like this. Bottom line is that I would never take anything to these guys again. (Plus, they were not cheap, but the quality of the work was!!!)
