If you don't walk in the door looking like a serious musician, don't expect these guys to be super nice and helpful. But to be fair, they have a decent selection of Fender guitars...

Okay store 2/10/2012

Pros -- Good selection, prices are okay. You can play with the insturments pretty hassel free. Cons -- The employess run from so so to just plain awful liars. Most of the employees are more interested in talking shop with their musician buddies than making a sale or helping someone who might come in not knowing everything. A few will say about anything to make a sale. So if you know what you want (and what it's worth) good chance you'll find it here. If you need sales help, just about any other store in Birmingham will serve you better. more

Will not be back 9/5/2009

I was looking for an acoustic guitar. For over 10 minutes I was ignored, then when a guy finally came over, he basically ridiculed me. There are other good stores in town, so I will never go back to Bailey Brothers. more

Decent. 11/30/2005

If you don't walk in the door looking like a serious musician, don't expect these guys to be super nice and helpful. But to be fair, they have a decent selection of Fender guitars (as well as others), drums, a room full of pianos, and even a few vinyls if you spin. The prices are average for that of a store that carries new instruments. Nothing special, but worth it if you're looking for something specific. more
